Avni Bhuva: Exclusive formal and informal designer
wear for women
Avni Bhuva is a fashion designer who works only with natural fabrics. Avni
designs both traditional Indian wear as well as Indo-Western outfits and
accessories. Her collections include sarees, ghaghra cholis, salwar-kameez-dupatta sets, short kurta-pant-scarf sets, dupattas, scarves
and stoles.
B.N.
Jewellers: Gold, Diamond & Kundan Jewellery
B N Jewellers is an old and trusted jewellery house with its origins in Jambusar. The firm specialises in exquisite studded jewellery (also known as kundan or jadau), traditional gold and contemporary diamond jewellery with a special focus on wedding and bridal jewellery.
BODHI:
Crafts, Textiles & Garments
Mala and Pradeep Sinha are both
trained designers from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and
have opened their own showroom in Baroda called BODHI. The name signifies
Awareness, which is the underlying strength behind everything that this
design couple does.
Shringar:
Hand-embroidered Sarees, Kurtas and Saree Blouses
Exquisite hand-embroidered Sarees, Kurtas and Saree Blouses in natural
fabrics are what Sonal Gandhi's Shringar specialises in. Especially hand
embroidery (desi bharat - herringbone, chain and stem stitch)
from Kathiawad and Saurashtra, with typical desi motifs like mor-popat,
keri and so on.
CHHAAP: Original
Prints from some of Baroda's best-known artists
Established on a co-operative basis, Chhaap tries to create and promote
wider appreciation of original prints.
Tejal
Design Studio: Brocade lifestyle items, designer sarees and dupattas
A treasure chest of brocade lifestyle items designed by Tejal Panthaki.
Tejal studied Textile
Design at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. When she
shifted to Baroda in the early eighties, she opened her boutique, which
was perhaps the city's first and only lifestyle store for at least a
decade.
RangVesh: Designer & Ethnic Wear and Designer Indian Formal Wear
Baroda's first hep, ethnic women's wear boutique continues to operate now on a much bigger scale, with a larger range of textiles, embroidery and garment designs, an added floor, and a new chakachak look.
However, the old warmth is the same, the good quality is guaranteed, and the pricing is
as reasonable as can be.

Kity's Beauty Clinic:
Name any Baroda socialite or celebrity and nine times on
ten, it's Kity Bhayani who is taking care of her beauty needs. She is also
the preferred beautician for local fashion photographers doing model
shoots.
