Zenith School was founded in 1952. It had very humble beginnings but over the years it has grown into one of the better schools in Baroda.

It has readily embraced modern teaching methods and is effectively using information technology (it has already trained about 35 staff members at the Intel Institute with Microsoft).

The school has plans to provide admission forms online. Five computers have been provided in the library to help the staff and students to get an easy access to the Internet. The attendance, results, fee collection, accounts and other school administration work are completely automated. The examination and other stationery is printed on a Risographic machine (120 pages a minute). Students are provided with a bar-coded identification card that monitors the student’s data online.

It is one of the few schools in the city that is very active in the Scouts and Guides field. It began this activity in 1964.

On the extra-curricular front, various literary, art, environmental and social work activities go on round the year.

Recent Events:
The Annual Sports Day was held at the Akota Stadium on 9th February for the English and Gujarati divisions. Dr. Madhukar Kochar and Dr. Rani Kochar were the Chief Guests for the English Medium and Mr. Suresh Patel was the Chief Guest for the Gujarati Medium. Altogether 48 events were on the agenda.
