Adventure Camps For Kids: Adventure camps for children have been announced by the State Youth Board, Gujarat Adventure Club and Mountaineering Centre. The venues: Junagadh from May 2 to May 9 and Mount Abu from May 28 to June 6. The camps will include training in rock climbing, river crossing and trekking at night. CSC Summer Activities: The Community Science Centre (CSC) plans  special activities for students on subjects like vedic mathematics, calligraphy and science experiments. Breathing Techniques Workshop: Ambalal Sarabhai Foundation will organise a workshop on breathing techniques and scientific meditation on every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Yoga expert Dr. Shrinivas Solapurkar will conduct the workshop and participants will be taught about the physiology of the respiratory system. Toy Making Programme: Community Science Centre, Vadodara, will conduct 'Scientific Toy Making' and 'Science Projects' programmes for students of classes 2 to 10 every Saturday. Hockey Coaching For School Children: Free camp organised by MS University's Department of Physical Education from April 28 to May 30. At MSU Pavilion Ground. To register please contact the coach at the ground from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cricket Camp For Women: Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) has invited applications for a camp to be organised for the Women's Cricket Wing. Interested players should go to the Alembic cricket ground between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. with a passport size photograph and a copy of the birth certificate. The camp will be held from May 10 to June 10.
